I bought this back up battery to go with the solar panel and pump. It was easy to connect. It is small enough to keep behind the panel, making it unnoticed. It stores enough power to keep the pump going even in cloudy weather.
This battery backup is great!! Keeps the birdbath flowing in cloudy weather and at night. My fountain was still flowing at 4am because of the Poposoap 2200mAh battery backup.
Additional update...seller was very prompt in honoring warranty. So impressed that I just ordered 2 additional items from them today.UPDATE...working with seller for replacement. I will update again when received.I purchased 2 of these backup batteries just under 2 months ago...one to back up a 12w fountain pump and the other to back up a 20w fountain pump. One didn't work great from the beginning, but it did work for an hour or so after sundown. The other seemed to work well until recently. Now it won't work at all after no sun is hitting the panel directly. So both have pretty much quit after only 2 months.
Never worked. Charged per instructions for days and still not working.

Wanted the back up battery so we could run the pump later in the day and are happy to find that it does just that. Very easy connections to solar panel too!
It works as it is supposed to. I wish there was a photocell for it so that it didn’t run all night and it would save battery for cloud cover.
