As I was putting the pipes together for the water fall portion the piping cracked. It is very snug and did not slip easily together, now it leaks.

Appears to be a well made product, so far pleased overall. Works well, able to run water through a pump head and fountain simultaneously. The instructions could probably be improved regarding the connection of the fountain parts (specifically the placement of the diverter) but play with it and you'll figure it out.

Gives a circular spray about 18-20"" high. Great for a pond of 15 feet across. Not sure about the negative reviews. It's a solar powered pond fountain - of course it doesn't work in the shade! Just plug the cable into the panel and it goes.

Works Great. Love it in my 4-tier fountain. The relaxing sounds of a waterfall.

Foe a small.8 foot wide pond this has been the best pump I've purchased . Easy to use and put together, and the height of the fountain on a sunny day is about 4 foot tall. It's beautiful.

We have a small pond we made this year to ad a little life to our property and hopefully bring in some local wildlife as well. We also have some fish we put in it and this helps them out as well with some water movement. We made sure to have to solar panel positioned where it would get the most use during the daylight hours and this stays running most all day long (minus thick cloud cover/ stormy weather). The only thing I have to do to keep this going is I clean out the intake area of the pump about once a week, just to keep it pumping water smoothly and not get clogged up. After a few weeks of this going, we've noticed the fish seem to be happier (the move around a lot more, can see them more often) and we've had a couple of turtles show up as well. This is in addition to countless frogs and other small creatures that like the pond. Hopefully this lasts a good while but I'll update this if it fails in a short amount of time or any other issues arise from it.

I was skeptical about how effective it could be, especially after unpacking and seeing how easy assembly was. But the moment I plugged the cords together the pump kicked on and the fountain was going. I’ve since used the included tubing to take a small waterfall about 3’ over the filter with plenty of flow Took a few days of fiddling to find the right location/folding of panels to capture the most light, and I had to put a small stone in the filter to keep it from lifting at first. But otherwise very easy to use.

I had a ""fountain"" feature, but wanted to place where there was no outlet. This solar pump worked just fine. I had to turn the dial down because it was too strong!

I ordered this pump for a DIY fountain that I just finished designing. I'm in the parts-accumulation phase right now and this pump looks like its going to fit the bill. It is solar; so, no sun...no power...no pumping. However, for my needs, this is going to work just fine. And, if need be, I do have a second (electrical) pump that I plan to incorporate for those night-time runs. We live in Tucson, AZ were the sunshine can power solar items for most of the year. Thus, we're trying to reduce our electrical needs wherever we can and this unit is another part of that plan.

The pump's size is just right to hide it within the smaller basin I have planned. Yet, it moves plenty of water and has a dial regulator to adjust flow rate. I very much like that I can remove and clean the filter inside the pump. And, I the rubber suction cups worked, keeping the unit in-place. I tested it in 5 gallon bucket. The manufacturer's 4.9 feet in lift height appears accurate. The various nozzles do give you very nice and different effect options. For our purposes, I just need to get the water to the top of the fountain and let gravity do it's work.

Everything appears to be well constructed and designed. The solar panel is housed in a solid aluminum frame. The included adjustable (spiked) stand will allow me to stabilize it. Really happy to see that the lead wire from pump to solar panel is plenty long. My targeted location for the fountain only gets partial sun; so, this is going to be very, very helpful. They also provide plenty of tubing.

All-in-all, this unit worked great in my test and I will be using it in my fountain design. Price point appears to be pretty competitive. However, depending on your needs, it is always smart to do your research. For mine, this will work.
